　　外观方面，新款高尔夫全面融合数智化时代的设计语言，全新设计的矩阵大灯与发光格栅无缝对接，并搭配贯穿式的LED日间行车灯组，让前脸看上去极具冲击力。新车前包围造型区别较大，伟德登录普通版采用横向三条幅设计，R-Line采用菱形网格状散热开口设计，GTI版本则是经典的蜂窝网状设计并在两侧配备五点式的LED灯组。此外，新车提供共计8种车身颜色供选择。

　　车尾部分，新车尾灯组采用熏黑式设计，造型与前大灯组采用了相同的风格，普通版以及R-Line版本使用了隐藏式排气以及尾部扩散器装饰面板点缀，GTI版本采用双边共两出的排气布局，并在后备厢中间设有“GTI”字样，表明新车身份。车身尺寸方面，新车长宽高分别为4289/1788/1648mm，轴距为2631mm。
